My name is Denise Buethe and I am a 9-12 Special Education teacher at the Auburn Public Schools.  In addition to high school, I also teach 6th Grade Corrective Reading classes.  I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and have recently earned a Masters Degree in Special Education from Concordia University at Seward.  I am married and live with my husband Brad on a farm south of Tecumseh near Elk Creek. I am originally from Elm Creek which is west of Kearney about 20 miles.  I was a paraeducator and a teacher for the Overton Public Schools for 14 years before getting married and moving to southeast Nebraska.  I was also a Speech Language teacher with ESU 4 in Auburn before coming to Auburn High School.  This is my 6th year at Auburn.

Auburn is a great place to teach.  Our staff is awesome and we all care about providing a safe learning environment for all of our students…”Our Children…Our Future!”  If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (402)274-4328 Ext. 210 or by email at denise.buethe@apsbulldogs.org
