My name is Mrs. Stickell and I am a first grade teacher here at Calvert Elementary School. I have been a schoolteacher since 1994. I love first grade and all the exploring and fun we get to have.
I have a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a special education endorsement. I enjoy taking new classes on a regular basis to keep my knowledge of education up to date and current. I have received my education through Peru State College and University of NE-Lincoln. I have also taken courses through University of NE-Kearney, University of NE-Omaha, and Augustana University.
I grew up right here in Auburn, NE and attended Calvert Elementary. Auburn Public Schools is near and dear to my heart. My husband, Chad, is from Illinois and works at NPPD. We have two children, Emily and AJ. Our family has three small dogs, Lollie, Lexie, and Lizzie. Lollie is a yorkie and the other two are morkies. I’ll be sure to tell you lots of stories about my family and puppies.
I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you.
