Hi! My name is Nicole Dunn, and I am a second grade teacher at Calvert Elementary School. This is my 11th year teaching, but my 4th in Auburn. I am very excited to be a part of the Auburn School District!
I graduated high school from Pawnee City in 2001 and from there went to Peru State College. At Peru State I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State and a Masters of Science degree in Reading from UNK. There is nothing like being a life long learner and an Auburn Bulldog!
In my free time I enjoy spending lots of time with my husband Shane, stepsons Alec and Joey, and daughter Tinley. Alec is a junior at Northwest Missouri State University and stays quite busy there! Joey is a senior here in Auburn and we really enjoy going to all of his events. Tinley also keeps us on our toes, as she has started preschool this year and enjoys going to dance class. Other than family, I really enjoy watching sports, visiting with friends, and finding the next great idea on Pinterest.
