E. Benjamin Nelson Recognizes Former Student

An AHS alumni, Melanie Rogge, daughter of Roger and Pat Rogge, currently serves as a member of Senator E. Benjamin Nelson's staff. Because of Nelson's admiration for Melanie, Senator Nelson donated a copy of Ronald Reagan; Late a President of the United States -- Memorial Tributes Delivered in Congress to the Auburn High School Media Center. According to Nelson, "The members of my staff play an important role in my service in the United States Senate. In order to recognize their contribution, I am sending a copy of the memorial tributes paid to President Reagan to all of the high schools these staff members attended."
