Title I Program

District 29 has implemented a school-wide elementary Title I Program designed to help all students improve math and reading skills. Students are assessed at the beginning of each school year and this information, along with classroom achievement, is used to determine which students need help in meeting critical academic milestones in their development.
Title I teachers work with classroom teachers as a part of math and reading teams. This teaming provides for smaller and more flexible group instruction, and facilitates extra attention to grade level skills.
