Mystery Teacher #1 2006

This mystery teacher's first name is Brett and he was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He graduated from Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic High School. He participated in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball for all four years. He was also in the One Act Play. Some of his favorite memories of high school were dating the homecoming queen in back to back years and leading his school to state in football 3 years, in basketball 2 years and baseball 1 year. He attended college at Peru State College and majored in Secondary Education in Social Sciences. His favorite part about college was hanging out with friends and of course student-teaching in Auburn. His first job after college was teaching at Sabetha High School in Kansas.

His favorite thing about working here is the students. He teaches 7th grade World History and 8th grade American History. He coaches Freshman and Varsity football and the Girls Soccer team. He likes coaching a lot and says that his favorite thing about coaching is to see kids performing their best outside of the classroom. He gets to know them on a different basis. For example, He learned that a student likes to bum sunflower seeds as often as possible, likes Garth Brooks, and that he won't bring him Subway before games.

He lives in Nebraska City and drives the 40 mile round trip every day. In his spare time he likes to play PS2 and cheer on the huskers. He travels to a husker game every year. He likes most music, except 70's or 80's and some of his favorite groups are: Rascal Flatts, A New Found Glory, the Penguins and Bone Thugs and Harmony. When asked what his favorite type of movie was, he said comedies and action movies if alone and chick flicks if he is with his wife. His four favorite TV shows are: House, O.C., Smallville, and Two and a half Men. He has no pets and his birthday is on November 7. When asked what his career goals are, he stated they are to outlast Mr. Oliver, get a room upstairs, and to get a master school key. Do you know who this Mystery Teacher is?
