Third Graders Read to Headstart Students

Tyler Welch and Tyler Root, both third graders at Calvert Elementary School, read to the morning Head Start students in October. Both third graders chose their favorite Dr. Seuss book to share with the preschool students.

After practicing reading the books many times in preparation for sharing, both third grade students read with a great deal of expression. It was easy to see that all of the students and their teachers alike enjoyed the stories!
