New Honor Roll Criteria

This year AHS is introducing new honor roll system to recognize students' accomplishments in the classroom. At the conclusion of each nine-week reporting period, a high school and a Grades 7-8 honor roll are determined based on the following criteria:
Classic Honor Roll
1. All subject grades shall count.
2. There shall be no mark below a B- and at least three (3) of the marks shall be an A- or above. Two of the A- or above marks must be in academic classes (i.e. English, social studies, mathematics, and science, Spanish)
3. Marks in courses taken for dual credit through the Peru State College early entrance program will count.
Platinum Honor Roll
1. All subject grades shall count.
2. The student must receive no grade below an A
3. Marks in courses taken for dual credit through the Peru State College early entrance program will count.
Gold Honor Roll
1. All subject grades shall count.
2. The student must receive no grade below an A-.
3. Marks in courses taken for dual credit through the Peru State College early entrance program will count.
Silver Honor Roll
1. All subject grades shall count.
2. The student must receive no grade below a B-.
3. Marks in courses taken for dual credit through the Peru State College early entrance program will count.
Most Improved Honor Roll
1. Given during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, quarters to those students who have shown great improvement from the previous quarter.
2. Based on Faculty and Administrative recommendations.
Students who earn these awards will be listed on this website and in the Nemaha County Herald.
