Nutrition Staff Receive Serve Safe Certification

All the members of the School District #29 Nutrition Service department have or will receive the Safe Serve Certification sponsored by the National Restaurant Association. Nutrition Services' Director Susan Lister lead staff in classes and training this summer to receive the certification, which trains staff members on safe practices during food preparation and serving. New staff members will be trained at a later date. Those who completed the course, sponsored by UNL, received their certification award this morning from the Superintendent.
