Meet Ms. Krafka

Ms. Krafka wasn’t just another teacher when she showed up at Auburn. She was the new teacher. Being familiar with Auburn, she has her mother, a brother, 2 sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and also cousins that live here. When she was in grade school, Ms. Krafka wanted to be a professional rodeo barrel racer or a professional singer. She decided to become a math teacher when she was in 7th grade because she loves math and also likes teaching it to all ages.

Right now, she’s in her first year in teaching at Auburn but she has been teaching for over 34 years now. Ms. Krafka graduated from UNL and loves her job of teaching. Ms. Krafka likes the Auburn community and expects her students to enjoy her math class and leave with knowledge and a appreciation of mathematics. She also enjoys other subjects like art, music and science.

Ms. Krafka is a very groovy person in her spare time. She enjoys going boating and swimming or working in her flower gardens. Her favorite type of music is country and she is of course a Huskers fan. Don’t worry, she is also an Auburn sports fan and will be at the Auburn sports activities. She was born and raised in Nebraska, but has traveled to over 40 other states including Canada and Mexico! Her favorite foods to eat are steak, chicken and pizza. If she could have any car she wanted, she would go with the Porsche convertible.
