One Act Play gears up for season

Ready, Set, Compete! This year's one act is off and started, the name of the one act is “The Happy Journey” by: Thornton Wilder. The main plot of the play is the family goes to see the older daughter, Beulah. But the story really takes place on the car ride there. The family talks about billboards and various other things and even gets into a fight when Arthur says something bad about God. They end up at Beulah's house where she and her mother have a heart to heart talk. The cast of this fun little play starts off with Beth Saulsberry as Ma, with Matt Knapp playing her husband Elmer. Her children are played by Amanda Shultz as Beulah, Abriel Shlange as Caroline, and Stew Black as Arthur. The date for the one act is yet to be announced. We hope to you will come and support the one act in the competition.
