Football wrap-up

The football team had many “ups and downs” this year. The season wasn’t what everyone was expecting. After coming off a state championship, the Bulldogs struggled this year to defend their title.
The last three games were against Lincoln Christian, Lincoln Lutheran, and Falls City. All three teams would reach the post-season. The Christian game was a battle between two great teams. The Bulldogs left it all out on the field but came up short 28-30. The Lutheran game was played in Lincoln. After several lightening delays the Bulldogs came out strong and defeated the Crusaders 46-12. The final game was against rival Falls City. The Tiger won the hard-fought game 15-2.
The Bulldogs finished the season 4-4.
