Veterans' Day Program at AHS
November 10, 2007
Auburn High School will be hosting its annual Veterans' Day Program on Monday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. This year AHS is honored to have MSgt. Mark Guice as our speaker. MSgt. Guice is currently stationed at Offutt Air Force Base. MSgt Guice was born and raised in Mississippi. He entered the Air Force in 1988 and went to electronic school at Lowery AFB in Denver, Colorado. Prior to coming to Offutt AFB he served at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL and Camp Red Cloud in Korea. MSgt. is married and has 3 daughters. He is currently completing his degree in Education from Peru State College and hopes to be a teacher when he retires.
In addition to MSgt. Guice the program will include a recognition of veterans by Dennis Kimball and Voice of Democracy Speeches from the three Auburn High School Winners (1st place - Alex Heard, 2nd place - Lauren Fletcher, 3rd place - Alex Chubick).
AHS would like to thank all of the Veterans' Service Agencies who are assisting with our program. A special thanks to Dennis Kimball for his assistance and Pat McDonald for making the programs.
Finally a sincere thank you to all our veterans and armed service members currently serving. We are forever in your debt.
