World Book Encyclopedias Now on Line

WORLD BOOK ENCYCLOPEDIAS NOW ON LINE

The World Book Online Reference Center is now available to all students in the Auburn School District. With state-of-art multimedia, maps, editor-reviewed Web sites providing students with a wider variety of research sources.
Students may select a school from this web site and click on the media center button. This will bring them to the library home page for that school. On that home page is a link to the World Book Encyclopedias/Atlas.
This web site may be accessed by all students in the district both in school and from their home computers. A Login (readreadread) and a Password (bulldogs) will be needed when using the site at home.
The following reference sources will be available:
World Book Encyclopedia (every article from the 22-volume print set)
World Book Kids Encyclopedia
World Book Advanced Search
Spanish-Language Encyclopedia
World Book Atlas
There are hundreds of other special features such as the World Book
Year Book which begins in 1922 and unfolds in the voice and perspective of each successive year.
It is hoped that students will find this a useful and convenient tool which will help them to succeed in all their research projects at Auburn Public Schools.
