Model Bridge Building Unit
Industrial Technology Class - 8th Grade

8th Grade Industrial Technology students participated in a model bridge building unit. Using the same amount of materials, students designed their bridges, then drew them using a computer - aided drafting program.
After manufacturing the bridges, they were weighed and tested for efficiency. Math, science and drafting skills were all used to engineer the bridges.
Every 8th grade student will have the opportunity to participate in this unit during the school year.
