Mrs. Moody Article

If you ever took a science class at Auburn High School you might have a slight idea who I am talking about. She has been a teacher at Auburn for nine years now. She teaches Biology and Advanced Biology.
She grew up in Peru, Nebraska with her
family. She attended Auburn High School and participated in
activities, one of those was track. In track she placed first at
the district track meet and set the new school record. After
graduating from Auburn, she attended Peru State College and
University of Nebraska Lincoln. She received her degree in
Secondary Science Education. She wanted to pursue a career in
teaching after she tutored freshman students during her senior year
at Auburn.
She met her husband Brian in high school.
They have three children named Trace, Kellen and Burke. She likes
to go on drives or walks in the pasture to explore with her family,
just to be outside with them is good. She does quilting, gardening
and landscaping in her spare time.
She enjoys teaching Biology and Advanced
Biology very much. “My passion with science is learning and
teaching about the human body.” One of the hardest things about
teaching she said is when she has students that choose not to like
a class before they even walk in the door.
If you haven’t figured out who I’m talking
about it is Mrs. Moody. Mrs. Moody said if she could have one super
human power it would be “the strength and speed of Superman to help
myself and other get things done that have been left undone for one
reason or another. That way we could all go to sleep not worrying
about what we have to get done tomorrow!” Mrs. Moody is a great
teacher and role model.
