CONGRATULATIONS to state track qualifiers: Nick Mann-long jump, Nate Teten-pole vault, Emily Boruch-shot put, Mackenzie Gerdes-pole vault & 4x400 relay, Meleia Oestmann-400m dash, Dariane Kimball-800 m. run, Brittni Mann-100 high hurdles, 300 low hurdles, 4x400 relay, Ashley Wheeler-4x400 relay and Carly Brewer-4x400 relay. Track check in for non-state qualifiers will be Monday and Tuesday after school.
STUDENT COUNCIL Anyone interested in running for Student Council for the 2008-2009 school year can pick up petitions to be placed on the ballot in the HS office. To be placed on the ballot you must collect 25 signatures from your classmates and 5 teacher signatures by FRIDAY, MAY 9th!! Ballots are due in the office by Friday, May 9th. Late petitions will not be accepted. Elections will be on Tuesday, May 13th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Rohrs or Mr. Reiman.
SB MEETING for those interested in SB next year. There will be a meeting on Wed., 5/14 at 7:00p.m. in the media center for players and parents.
ATHLETIC BANQUET will be Tuesday, 5/13 . The meal is being served at 6:30. Awards following dinner. Free will offering.
DRIVER'S ED SUMMER SCHEDULES may be picked up in the HS office for grades 9-12. Please note the sheets are marked for Session A/B and C/D.
Paper internship The Auburn Newspapers is looking for a student intern to work this summer. This is a great opportunity for any student interested in a career in journalism or broadcasting. Apply for the position at the Newspaper office. If you have questions, see Mr. Reiman.
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS for grades 7-12 who plan to participate in athletics during the 2008-09 school term will be Saturday, August 2nd at the Auburn Family Health Center. Boys will be from 8-10a.m. and girls from 10a.m. -noon. Each student must bring $20 and a urine specimen.
