Pamida donates to School District #29!

For children, back to school is an exciting time filled with fun, friends and brand new school supplies. However, a new school year can cause many families to feel strapped and find their budgets strained to a great extent. To help ease this burden, the Auburn Pamida Store has partnered with area residents to provide money to Auburn Public Schools. The donation will be used to purchase supplies for children in need.
Throughout the past month, Pamida has been asking to area resident to donate $1 for Auburn Public Schools. Thanks to the generosity of Auburn and area citizens, Lisa Jones, Pamida manager, presented a check for $280 to Auburn Public Schools Superintendent, Steve Schneider.
The annual fundraising drive is in its seventh year and is just one more example of Pamida's commitment to giving back to the people that support the Auburn store.
