AHS Celebrates 2008 Homecoming

King Sherman and Queen Anderson crowned!

Auburn High School Homecoming 2008 was held on Friday, September 26. A community pep rally, sponsored by the Auburn Public Schools Sports Boosters, jump-started the week's festivities with a parade of athletes, skits, and hot dogs, etc. 

Students had a great time participating in a theme/spirit event each day of Homecoming week.The following is a list each theme day.

HOMECOMING WEEK SPIRIT DAYS:

Monday --Decades Day -- dress in attire from the 50's, 60's, 70's, or 80's

Tuesday --Twin/Triplet Day -- dress as a twin or triplet

Wednesday -- Western Wednesday Day -- dress in western attire

Thursday -- Celebrity  Day - dress as your favorite TV, movie, sports or rock star

Friday -- Red and White Day

During half-time of the Auburn/Falls City game, 2008 Homecoming royalty was crowned. The was Brent Sherman as selected as the 2008 King  and Sydney Anderson was crowned as the 2008 Queen. Other candidates were:
