City Changes Calvert Traffic Patterns
School District and City anticipate additional traffic in Fall 2009!

The Auburn City Council voted to change the traffic patterns around Calvert Elementary in anticipation of increased traffic when the building opens as a K-5 facility on August 31.
Patrons of the school district and the city should be advised that N Street has become a one-way street for south bound traffic beginning at 20th Street to 22nd Street. Conversely, O Street is a one-way street for north bound traffic beginning at 22nd Street to 20th Street. Another street that has become one-way for west bound traffic is 22nd Street.
Traffic signs directing the changes were posted by the City of Auburn Street Department on June 30, 2009. School and city officials hope that local residents will become accustomed to the new traffic by-ways during July and August -- two months before school begins.
