Upcoming College Visitations!

For Juniors and Seniors

Juniors and Seniors- To Visit with a College Representative-

                See the calendar in the Guidance Office

*Available to seniors only during the 1st semester

*Please sign up for college/ business visitations in the guidance office

* Need a visitation pass from Linda  Jones to leave your scheduled class period

* May attend 2 college/business visitations per semester!
*All visits will be in the high school conference room          

* Juniors & Seniors may attend 2 sessions during 2nd semester.

                   Questions to ask College Recruiters:

How much is your application fee?      What is the enrollment of your school?

Is financial aid available?          Are there freshman scholarships available?

Does your school have housing/dorms?         Must I live on campus?

Go Huskers! UNL offers Husker Juniors Wednesdays and Super Saturdays for Juniors and Seniors- Call 1-800-742-8800 or Schedule a visit at http://admissions.unl.edu/visit

South Dakota State University    Sign up online at www.sdstate.edu    Visitation Cost is Free!

Iowa Western Community College is offering free tours for High school juniors and seniors.   Check it out online at www.iwcc.edu

K State encourages juniors and seniors to visit their campus each  spring.      Junior visitation day : 

Register at http://consider.k-state.edu/junior    or   call 1-800-432-8270  

 

ACT Registration - sign up well in advance - See Guidance Office for dates and application forms.  Cost for ACT Tests:

ACT (non-writing test)= $32.00     ACT (with writing test)=$41.00 

ACT scores must be reported to colleges- Choose 5 possible college choices and have your results/scores mailed to those college admissions offices! 

 

** Military Recruiters**

Recruiters from all branches of the military have been invited to set up information tables in the Lower Commons/Lunchroom on the first Thursday of each month. Recruiters can be reached from 11:15 to 12:30 on those days. 

Students will not be pulled from classes or lose instructional time to visit with recruiters.
