Hi. I am the 4th and 5th grade Resource Teacher at the Auburn Middle School. I really enjoy teaching. It is rewarding to watch students achieve success.

Family, Hobbies and Interests
I grew up in Auburn. My mother and my two brothers still live here. I have one daughter, Joanna, who graduated from AHS and Peru State. She is currently in grad school and working in Lincoln. When not teaching, I worked as an executive secretary for an agricultural equipment company and as a cook on a custom wheat harvesting crew. I also worked as an Adult Basic Education teacher through Southeast Community College.
I love to read and cook. I also enjoy writing. Although I mostly write for my own pleasure, I have written commercially. I intend to pursue this interest further. I also love music, everything from the standards to country, with a side mix in between.
Working with children has always been important to me. Even as a teenager I taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at my church. I have also been a Girl Scout , Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family. My favorite place to be is in the Arkansas Ozarks and Branson, Missouri. I love to go to movies and concerts.I will also admit to an addiction to some reality TV shows.
