Hello, I am Shawn Wehenkel and I teach Physical Education at Auburn Middle School and Calvert Elementary School. This is my 4th year in Auburn. I love being a teacher and coach. I coach girls golf, girls basketball and boys golf at Auburn High School. I believe all students should be successful in school.

Family, Hobbies, and Interests
My wife Samantha and I both teach in the Auburn Public School system. We were married on July 2nd, 2005 and moved to Auburn in December of 2005. We are expecting our first child. My wife enjoys golf, softball and watching movies. This will be her first year of coaching the high school softball team. I like to play all sports and upland bird hunt. We have a hunting dog named Dexter that is extremely spoiled by my wife. We love to watch all bulldog athletics and are big supporters of the Huskers.
