HAL Activities Coordinator and Support Staff

Meet the High Ability Learner Coordinator

As District 29’s High Ability Learner Activities Coordinator, Cindy Cole oversees all HAL activities for students in grades 4-12.  She works closely with administrators, building principals and High Ability Learner Coaches to develop and coordinate programs and events for students throughout the school year.  Mrs. Cole also plans and organizes summer camp offerings for grades 4-8 and recruits qualified teachers to lead the classes.  Cindy assists with HAL policy and budget recommendations as well as HAL Steering Committee activities.  She also provides input on HAL staff development opportunities for district teachers. Mrs. Cole received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Peru State College and has been a teacher for 27 years.
