Pam Pfeiffer
August 11, 2008
Hello, I am Pam Pfeiffer and I teach Art at Auburn High School. I enjoy being a teacher and look forward to an exciting year at a new school. Art is an expression of who you are and what you are feeling.
Education:
California State University, Fullerton
B.A, Fine Art emphasis in Painting and Drawing
Teacher Career:
2001-2006 John Glenn High School, Art and Math, Norwalk, CA
Family, Hobbies and Interests:
After I met my husband, Jim, I moved to Syracuse in July of 2006 from California . In California, I taught both art and math at the high school level. I miss the weather in Southern California but the people in Nebraska are much more friendly.
Jim and I like to go to car shows. Jim has a 1955 Chevy pickup that we love to drive around in. We have gone to Lincoln several times with it and also gone to the Cook Car Show. We don't put the '55 in the shows because we still have some work to do on it. We also enjoy watching auto racing. I especially enjoy watching races on dirt tracks. Nothing compares to the smell of the fuel and the mud flying up into the stands. Obviously, one of my favorite activities is art. I enjoy ink drawing, wood burning and found object sculpture.
