Hey It's Mr. Buckner

Mr. Buckner's full name is Garry Khristopher Buckner. Some students refer to him as Mr. Bucky. He was born in Russelville, AR. As a young boy he wanted to become a teacher and coach.

He attended Clarksville High School. As a young pupil eager to learn, his favorite subject was math. His least favorite was non other than...art. While in school, he participated in football, basketball,, and baseball. Mr. Buckner was also involved with FBLA and FCA. He said that playing football really inspired him to his career now.

Mr. Buckner attended college at Central Arkansas and Peru State. While there he studied History and Physical Education. He studied at Central Arkansas for a year and a half and Peru State for three and a half years before coming to Auburn High School.

Mr. Buckner teaches Physical Education and Health classes here at Auburn High School. If he could switch the classes he teaches with something else, he said he would like to teach Weight Training. When asked what he thought of Auburn High School so far he said "Love it!". Mr. Buckner doesn't have one favorite student because he believes that they are all his favorite.

If you didn't already know, Mr. Buckner is a family man. He has a wife and three kids. His favorite food is Fajitas, chips, and salsa. Mmm, yummy! He likes the color red, which is good because our school colors are red, black, and white.
