Life Skills

Chris Allgood is the Life Skills/Behavior Disorders teacher. Her classroom, located in the Alternative Education building, includes a job skills area and a working kitchen. In these specialized areas, students participate in hands-on activities to help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. Along with functional reading, writing, and math lessons, students are also provided learning opportunities outside the classroom through visits to local merchants and businesses to volunteer and learn job skills.
