Mrs. Kite's third graders have been studying about Native Americans and the Pilgrims. Several different tribes were highlighted in this study. In her classroom, Mrs Kite has constructed a "teepee." This is actually a listening and read along center. Students earn minutes in the teepee when work is completed correctly. The students have been loving their "teepee time."
