It proposes to leverage nanotechnology to produce affordable gun screening solutions for schools in the United States. Kaware was also selected for the State Merit Winner Award back in 2016 as a fifth grader in Calvert Elementary School. His project two years ago was Anti-Slip Footwear Using Carbon Nanofibers. Its aim was to provide safer footwear to elderly persons to minimize their risk of slipping and falling. He was chosen one of 34 state merit winners nationwide. The youth are being lauded for developing an innovative solution to an everyday problem which may ultimately improve while reshaping the way we live. Students nationwide were asked to create a short video describing a new innovation or idea.
