Hi! My name is Nicole Dunn, and I am a second grade teacher at Calvert Elementary School. This is my 14th year teaching, but my 7th in Auburn. I am very excited to be a part of the Auburn School District!
I graduated high school from Pawnee City in 2001 and from there went to Peru State College. At Peru State I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State and a Masters of Science degree in Reading from UNK. There is nothing like being a life long learner and an Auburn Bulldog!
In my free time I enjoy spending lots of time with my husband Shane, stepsons Alec and Joey, daughter Tinley, and son Marshall. Alec is a Crop Adjuster and lives in David City, NE. Joey live in Nebraska City and works at Martin Marietta in Weeping Water. Tinley is a first grader here at Calvert and enjoys playing with her friends, cheerleading, and gymnastics. Marshall is two and is quite the little man! He loves talking and dancing and loves spending time with his teachers and friends at daycare. Other than family, I really enjoy watching sports, visiting with friends, and finding the next great idea on Pinterest.
