Miss McKinsie Reeves:
Welcome family and friends to my faculty page! I would like to share a brief overview about myself. I am from Brownville, Nebraska, a small town in the southeastern corner of the state. I was raised on a farm between Brownville and Peru. I attended elementary and high school in Auburn, NE. I received my Elementary Education degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2016. Prior to graduating I have substitute taught for more than 350 hours at Auburn Public Schools. In addition, I completed my student teaching in Mrs. Behrends’ first grade classroom at Johnson Brock public schools. I am ecstatic to be back at Auburn and cannot wait to enjoy my first year teaching First Grade and Coaching the Auburn Middle School Volleyball program.
I encourage you to click on the link below to navigate to my educational website. The goal my website is to familiarize you with my beliefs and teaching practices as well as a resource tool for you and your family to use. You will find blogs throughout the website that will help you understand what our elementary students will be learning. I am available to serve you and your family with any further questions you may have after exploring this site. I look forward to meeting and working with your family, to help your child succeed in their elementary career.
If you have a child in my classroom you can use the link below to access our Class Dojo site. Class Dojo is used as the primary form of communication between our classroom and the parents/guardians of my students!
