Dear Families, May 7, 2020

We have reached a point where we are able to plan a student check-out for next week, May 11th-14th.  During this time, students and parents will be able to enter the building through the front (west) doors and retrieve student items from the classroom.  There will also be designated tables set up in the cafeteria to return any school items (i.e. textbooks, library books).

Please know that we will be respecting social distancing guidelines and limiting the number of people in one area to a maximum of 15.  We are asking that only one adult and one child come together to pick up student items.  This will be monitored carefully throughout the week.

Calvert Grade Level Student Check-Out Schedule

Kindergarten & 3rd - Monday, May 11th, 9 AM to 5 PM

2nd & 4th - Tuesday, May 12th, 9 AM to 5 PM

1st & 5th -  Wednesday, May 13th, 9 AM to 5 PM

Alternate Pick Up Day - Thursday, May 14th, 9 AM to 5 PM

*If these designated times present a conflict, please contact the Calvert Office at 402.274.4129.

Additional Notes:

  • Preschool items may be picked up from the office area anytime during student checkout.

  • Families are welcome to pick up all of their children’s items on the same day, regardless of grade level.

  • Families who already have their child’s belongings do not need to re-enter school at this time.

  • Teachers are not expected to be in their classrooms during student checkout.

We appreciate all of your support during this time of great adversity.  We miss our students and families, and sincerely look forward to being back together again.  While we don’t know what the future holds in regard to scheduling, please know that we are working diligently to provide a return to school that will go smoothly and ensure the success of every student in our school.

Warmly,

Breanne Poston
