Calvert ended the first semester with some school-wide fun! Congratulations to the students who earned perfect attendance for the first semester. These students had no tardies, early departures, or absences during the first two quarters. Wow!

Congratulations as well to our 4th and 5th grade students, who tied for needing the least reminders to follow our school-wide expectations during the first semester. Their leadership and positive behavior earned them the opportunity to sit with friends of their choice at lunch today, along with extra recess time. Well done!

We also had a very special visitor join us: The Grinch, who led students in some festive dancing. In addition, Calvert classrooms are participating in music trivia throughout the day. Four staff members are bravely singing over the intercom, and classrooms that guess the singer correctly earn candy canes.

Congratulations to Mrs. Meyer’s class for winning the first round, and a big thank you to Miss Addie for being brave and kicking things off with her singing!

They scored an impressive 840, earning 2nd place in the High School Division and 1st place in the Omaha Region! Way to go, Bulldogs! 🐾
