Once again, we’d like to celebrate Holly Rieschick for being named a Touchdown for Teachers award recipient by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska! Calen Schmidt has been hired as girls basketball coach. Girls going into grades 7-12 who have any interest in playing basketball next year are encouraged to attend a meeting Monday at 11:30 AM in the media center. The meeting will be followed by open gym from 12 PM - 1:30 PM.

Earlier this month, our AHS Speech Team members competed at NIETOC in Kansas City! With 105 Duet Acting entries from across the nation, our students made us proud: 👏 Cuyler Aue & Gatlin Gerking – Octafinalist Duet (Top 60) 👏 Solomon Jacobitz & Nora Jacobitz – Quarterfinalist Duet (Top 30) Way to represent Auburn on the national stage!

The lost and found has exploded now that we are clearing out lockers. If your student is missing something, stop by and look through what is here! Items will be donated June 10th. Call the Middle school office or email miranda.decker@apsbulldogs.org to set up a time to claim items.

The 6th grade class ended the year researching and creating a climate box. They had to research the climate, animals, and plants.

Congrats to Addison Darnell & Logan Rowell who both medaled in the Class B State Track Meet. Addison won the 300m hurdles & finished 2nd in the 100m hurdles! Her time in the 300m hurdles is the new Class B State Meet Record! Congrats to Logan Rowell on earning 6th in the Discus!

Calvert celebrated a PAWSitive 2024-2025 school year at our end of the year assembly. 4th grade was honored for their PAWSitive behavior and 5 students had perfect attendance! Have a great summer!

The last day of school for APS is May 21. Calvert will dismiss at 11:15 and MS/HS will dismiss at 11:30. Buses will run accordingly. Have a great summer!

Congratulations to the quiz bowl team for their 3rd place finish in Seward! Their only loss came from a state-qualifying team. Fun Fact: This picture was taken in front of the world's largest time capsule!

6th & 7th grade parents -- If your child enrolled in Agriculture Class next year, they are eligible to join FFA. Sign up in August. If you have Q's please reach out!

The boys golf team had another successful day on the course! The team finished runners-up and 4 golfers' earned a medal. Preston Crawford was 3rd, Hudson Emshoff was 6th, Kaleb Dammast was 8th and Jake Franklund was 15th.
