TONIGHT ONLY! Help the AHS Speech Team prepare for districts with a night of performances! The community is invited to attend the annual Speech Night at Auburn High School. Performances begin at 6:15 PM. All performances will be located in classrooms on the 2nd floor.
The AHS Speech Team earned 1st place at the Fairbury tournament on Saturday, March 8th; competing against 24 schools with a total of nearly 300 entries. This was the last regular-season meet before we begin preparing for our district competition on March 22nd, hosted at the SCOTUS Central Catholic High School. Finalists include:

Due to current weather and road conditions, Auburn Public Schools will be closed today. The boys District finals basketball game will be held at 5pm per NSAA requirements.
Due to forecasted weather conditions, there will be a 2 hour late start Wednesday March 5. Buses will run accordingly. Afternoon activities will be held.

Auburn JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) went to Omaha to compete at the State Level Career Development Conference. Kyle Jones and Solomon Jacobitz were in the top 15 of the state and competed in Career Preparation. Sophie Crotty was in the top 15 in Employability Skills and competed, also in the top 25 was Solomon Jacobitz. CONGRATULATIONS to Solomon Jacobitz he placed 1st in Career Preparation and will compete at the National Level in late April in Indianapolis.

The Boys Varsity District game scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The game will be played on Wednesday, March 5th at 5pm in Auburn.
