The ECNC Art Show is on display at Peru State College in the AV Larson gallery until March 26th. Mia Gerdes who was awarded Best in Show for the entire conference for her macrame wall hanging! Congrats to those whose art was selected to go! The AHS Speech Team earned 1st place at the Fairbury tournament on Saturday, March 8th; competing against 24 schools with a total of nearly 300 entries. This was the last regular-season meet before we begin preparing for our district competition on March 22nd, hosted at the SCOTUS Central Catholic High School. Auburn JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) went to Omaha to compete at the State Level Career Development Conference. Kyle Jones and Solomon Jacobitz were in the top 15 of the state and competed in Career Preparation. Sophie Crotty was in the top 15 in Employability Skills and competed, also in the top 25 was Solomon Jacobitz. CONGRATULATIONS to Solomon Jacobitz he placed 1st in Career Preparation and will compete at the National Level in late April in Indianapolis.
