Welcome to July! August will be here before we know it. Even though schedules are not available yet, here are the supply lists for 6-8th grade students. As always, if you need help with school supplies, please reach out to the Middle school office or Mrs. Wynn the counselor. (High school students do not have a supply list. )
A meeting to discuss Special Education provisions for non-public schools for the 2025-2026 school year will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the District 29 Central Office, 1713 J Street. If you would like to participate or have questions contact Reva Siegel at 402-274-4131

This year’s program was more competitive than ever, with 276 teachers nominated from across the state! With so many amazing educators in the running, it’s an incredible honor for Holly to be recognized as one of just five recipients. We’re proud to see her impact celebrated on such a big stage!

Calen Schmidt has been hired as girls basketball coach. Girls going into grades 7-12 who have any interest in playing basketball next year are encouraged to attend a meeting Monday at 11:30 AM in the media center. The meeting will be followed by open gym from 12 PM - 1:30 PM.

The 6th grade class ended the year researching and creating a climate box. They had to research the climate, animals, and plants.
Congrats to Addison Darnell & Logan Rowell who both medaled in the Class B State Track Meet. Addison won the 300m hurdles & finished 2nd in the 100m hurdles! Her time in the 300m hurdles is the new Class B State Meet Record! Congrats to Logan Rowell on earning 6th in the Discus!
Calvert celebrated a PAWSitive 2024-2025 school year at our end of the year assembly. 4th grade was honored for their PAWSitive behavior and 5 students had perfect attendance! Have a great summer!

The last day of school for APS is May 21. Calvert will dismiss at 11:15 and MS/HS will dismiss at 11:30. Buses will run accordingly. Have a great summer!
