On Monday, June 3, 2024, Auburn Public Schools will be conducting a Parent Consultation Meeting for students living within District 29 boundaries. The purpose is to discuss Special Education provisions for Non-Public/Exempt Home School students identified with a disability for the 2024-2025 school year. The meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the District 29 Central Office, 1713 J Street. If you would like to participate or have further questions contact Shane Keeling at 402-274-4131.

Last day of school for Auburn Public Schools is May 22. Calvert will dismiss at 11:15 and Middle School/High School will dismiss at 11:30. Buses will run accordingly. Enjoy your summer break!

Mrs. Gerdes' business law class visited County Court Judge Richard Smith earlier this semester. Students toured court offices, learned about what each court does, and watched hearings. Thank you Judge Smith for taking the time to speak with students!

Some of our fifth-grade students presented on Americanism at the recent Board meeting.


Hudson and Maverick both qualified for the state golf championship in Scottsbluff on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Hudson was 4th and Maverick placed 10th. Congratulations boys.


Congratulations to Maverick Binder and Hudson Emshoff on their qualification in the State Golf Tournament. Tee time is 9:00 a.m. at the Scottsbluff Country Club on May 21st.


Addison Darnell will kick off the 2 day State Track Tournament on Wednesday at 2:55. All events will take place at Omaha Burke High School.

The rescheduled Fine Arts Festival will be held on Tuesday in the Auburn gym. Open viewing begins at 5:30, awards at 6:30 and performances at 7:00.


The AHS Speech Team had one duet qualify and compete at the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions (NIETOC) on Friday, May 10th-Saturday, May 11th. Congratulations to the Duet Quarterfinalists Taryn Cowley and Solomon Jacobitz for placing 30th of 86 competing duets.
